"A Beautiful Mind" was an experimental project that aimed to promote awareness and understanding of neurodiversity among young people. The project focused on empowering youth through education and civic engagement activities, involving both neurodiverse and neurotypical individuals. It sought to challenge and reduce the stigma surrounding neurodiversity, which includes conditions such as autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. During the project, participants took part in various activities that provided practical experience in community service and project management. Through these activities, they gained valuable skills and a deeper understanding of neurodiversity. The initiative had multiple objectives, including raising awareness about neurodiversity, encouraging young people to be more active in their communities, and providing educational resources that could be used even after the project ended. The Erasmus+ program played an important role in increasing the project's impact. By using the resources and opportunities offered by Erasmus+, the project aimed to create long-term change and inspire young people to build a more empathetic and active society. Project Objectives: To raise awareness about neurodiversity among young people and help create a more accepting society; To encourage young people to take part in community service and advocacy activities, increasing their civic engagement; To support participating organizations by involving young people who were well-informed, engaged, and active in their communities; To provide hands-on experience in project management and civic activities for the young people who participated; To promote a long-term commitment to neurodiversity awareness and community involvement by offering educational resources that could be used in the future; To increase participants' knowledge of the Erasmus+ program, helping them develop better future projects and share this knowledge with others.
