Inspired by their passion for environmental protection and perceived needs in the community, a group of six young people decided to create a project to raise awareness, promote sustainable practices and encourage youth participation in decision-making processes. After consulting with young people, conducting surveys and interviews, they identified young people's needs, such as gaining knowledge about sustainability, motivation to participate in city life, practical environmental skills and space for discussion and collaboration. The project was created under the guidance of WSM, also taking into account the needs of the organization. Conclusions from the meeting included the need for visibility, promoting the organisation, and recruiting staff and volunteers. The main goal of the project is to raise awareness, promote sustainable practices and encourage youth participation in decision-making processes for a more sustainable future for Walbrzych. Specific goals include environmental education for young people, developing the ability to voice opinions and engage in the local community, and building a climate change-conscious community.
