The primary objectives of the “Future of Career through the Eyes of YOUTH” (FOC) project were to empower young people, equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the job market effectively, and facilitate meaningful dialogues between youth and decision-makers. Specifically, the project aimed to achieve the following objectives: • Enhance Employability Skills: The project aimed to improve the employability of young people by providing them with insights into the job market, enhancing their CV and motivation letter writing skills, and supporting the optimization of their LinkedIn profiles. • Youth Empowerment: FOC sought to empower young people by fostering critical thinking, self-confidence, and a proactive attitude towards their career development. • Youth Participation: The project aimed to actively involve young people in shaping their future by giving them a platform to express their concerns, aspirations, and ideas related to career development. • Youth–Decision Maker Dialogues: FOC intended to create opportunities for meaningful dialogue between young people and decision-makers, including employers and entrepreneurs. These dialogues allowed youth to voice their expectations, challenges, and perspectives on the job market. • Cross-Cultural Understanding: The project promoted cross-cultural understanding and cooperation by involving youth from different cultural backgrounds, facilitating the exchange of ideas, and encouraging collaboration. • Dissemination of Knowledge: FOC aimed to disseminate knowledge and best practices related to job application processes, including CV writing, motivation letters, and LinkedIn profile development, to a wider audience, benefiting both direct participants and the broader youth community. • Digital Skills Development: The project contributed to the digital skills development of young people by introducing them to various digital tools and platforms for communication, project management, and networking. • Long-Term Impact: Beyond the immediate project activities, FOC sought to create a lasting impact by establishing a network of empowered youth who could continue to support each other’s career development.
