As members of the Youth Human Impact Association, we have often held discussions on politics and its impact on the country's economy. During these discussions, we noticed that young people have a limited influence on political and economic processes. It was then that the idea of creating a project was born, which would aim to establish an effective dialogue between young people and those responsible for political and economic decisions. Our meetings focused mainly on issues related to finance, economic development and economics, because these are important topics for every citizen. We wanted to show young people that they have a real opportunity to influence the future of their country, region or local community. The basic goals of the project included: - Encouraging young people to actively participate in public life. - Supporting young people in shaping a democratic society. - Developing civic attitudes among young people. - Promoting democratic values among participants. - Raising awareness among young people about their role in political processes. - Creating a space for direct dialogue between young people and decision-makers and MEPs. - Expanding participants' knowledge about the functioning of the European Union and its impact on the country's economy. - Organizing meetings with experts in the field of economics, finance and economy. - Deepening understanding of economic mechanisms and the impact of politics on public finances. - Developing entrepreneurial skills among participants. - Disseminating knowledge about democracy and promoting active citizenship. Our initiative aims to eliminate the barrier between young people and decision-makers and create a space for an open exchange of views. A key element of the project is building mutual understanding through direct meetings, practical exercises, workshops and simulations that will help young people better understand the principles of democracy and the mechanisms governing the economy.
