The E+motion project was designed to empower young people with digital competencies, enabling them to use technology as a tool for advocacy and social change. Recognizing the growing influence of digital platforms, this project focuses on equipping youth with practical ICT and multimedia skills to raise awareness about key issues in their communities. Project Objectives: Develop ICT and Digital Skills for 44 Youth Participants (including facilitators) from 6 Countrie Train participants in PhotoVoice methodology to visually document social issues and express their perspectives through photography and storytelling. Provide hands-on experience in video production and editing, resulting in the creation of six short films highlighting challenges faced by young people in their local communities. Introduce graphic design and presentation tools such as Canva, Prezi, PowerPoint, and Menti to enhance their ability to create professional-quality digital content. Teach social media campaigning techniques, specifically on TikTok, to help participants design and execute an online awareness campaign. Equip youth with public speaking and digital communication skills, enabling them to present their ideas effectively in online and offline settings. Increase Social Inclusion for 19 Youth with Fewer Opportunities Engage young people facing economic, geographical, or educational barriers by providing mentorship, intercultural exchange, and non-formal learning experiences. Facilitate intercultural collaboration through teamwork and cultural evenings where participants share their traditions, languages, and customs. Provide structured mentorship and guidance to ensure that youth with fewer opportunities gain confidence and actively contribute to project activities. Raise Awareness of Local and International Social Issues Through Digital Media Organize a TikTok campaign where participants create engaging, viral-style content to highlight social issues. Develop and screen six short films created during the mobility, showcasing real problems affecting communities across the six participating countries (Romania, Greece, Latvia, Turkey, Poland, and Bulgaria). Host public exhibitions where participants present their PhotoVoice projects to local audiences at the Cultural House in Balan, Romania. Strengthen the Organizational Capacity of 6 Partner Organizations Improve the digital management capabilities of partner organizations, ensuring they can better support future digital youth initiatives. Foster trans-sectoral cooperation, increasing collaboration between youth organizations, local authorities, and media partners. Maintain long-term engagement by expanding volunteer networks and ensuring sustainability beyond the project's lifetime. How We Measure Success: To track progress and impact, the project implements various evaluation methods, including: Video diaries: Each participant records daily reflections on their learning experience. Competency assessments: Comparing initial self-evaluations with final Youthpass reports. Social media analytics: Monitoring engagement metrics from the TikTok campaign and YouTube video views. Participant feedback surveys: Collecting insights through Google Forms at different project stages. Anticipated Impact on Participants & Communities: > 44 youth will develop practical digital skills applicable in education and employment. > 19 youth with fewer opportunities will gain social inclusion experience through active participation in an Erasmus+ program. > Six organizations will enhance their capacity to integrate digital education into their activities. > Community impact: Local audiences in Balan, Romania, and other partner cities will engage with PhotoVoice exhibitions and film screenings, gaining awareness of important societal issues. By implementing E+motion, we bridge the digital divide, foster active citizenship, and equip young people with tools to make their voices heard on a larger scale.
