Through the CommuniTEEN project, our goal was to contribute to increasing the level of civic engagement among 100 young people aged between 16 and 23 from the communities of Brasov, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Iasi, during the period January 2024 – April 2025. To achieve this goal, we set the following secondary objectives • To raise awareness among at least 100 young people aged 16 to 23 about civic engagement, volunteering and participation in voting, during the period January 2024 – April 2025 • To develop essential skills for active citizenship, such as civic-mindedness, assertive communication, critical thinking, and combating fake news. This was achieved through a youth mobility held in Predeal between 25-28 July 2024, attended by 35 young people from Brasov, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Iasi • To build a community action network in the cities of Brasov, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Iasi, consisting of at least 100 young people aged 16 to 23, during the period January 2024 – April 2025 Through this project, we aimed to support young people in becoming responsible and well-informed citizens. By educating them, developing their skills, and creating a network of community action, we laid the foundation for a future generation of change agents who will contribute to the progress of society.
