By implementing project “May the group force be with you(th)!” we wanted to highlight the importance of a good group process and offer tools, methods, and techniques for working with groups of youth, team building, crisis management, conflict management, task delegation, evaluation, reflection, and monitoring. We wanted to create a safe space in which youth leaders, youth coordinators, youth workers, and other experts who work with youth on a long-term basis can develop their skills, competencies, and knowledge in theory, but also try it out in practice and later use it in their direct work with young people. Besides this, our goal was to create and disseminate a guide that contains useful tools for working with groups of young people for all those who work with this target group. Project “May the group force be with you(th)!” has had four main objectives: to raise awareness among youth workers, youth leaders, youth coordinators, and other youth experts on the significance of good group process, to heighten skills, attitudes, and knowledge of youth workers, youth leaders, youth coordinators and other youth experts on group process techniques, methods, and tools, to develop capacities of youth workers, youth leaders, youth coordinators, and other youth experts for analyze of group process and determination which tools and methods to use in which phase of the group process, taking in consideration the needs and benefits of the group and to develop abilities of youth workers, youth leaders, youth coordinators, and other youth experts for facilitation and reflection of learning processes of individual young people involved in group process.
