Belongingness+ (BE+) aimed to address the pressing mental and social challenges faced by young people, such as isolation, disconnection, and fragmentation. It sought to equip youth workers with transformative tools to help youth reconnect with their sense of self, communities, and the natural world. By integrating Belonging through Embodiment, Art, and Nature Connection, our training course focused on promoting mental health, well-being, and environmental awareness. Through artistic expression and embodied experiences, participants were guided to rediscover their inner landscapes and foster authentic belonging. This holistic approach enabled youth workers to help young people find purpose and alignment with their values. The main objective was to empower youth workers to facilitate transformative experiences of belonging and self-expression for the youth they support. BE+ also aimed to integrate sustainability principles into youth work, promote active citizenship, and equip youth workers to facilitate inclusive processes with marginalized youth, thereby strengthening community bonds and mental well-being.
