Objectives

With this project, we aimed to raise awareness and understanding of the ethical aspects related to the development of artificial intelligence among young participants from various European countries. Our main goal was to empower young people to become responsible and engaged citizens of the digital age, with a particular emphasis on encouraging critical thinking about the ethics of artificial intelligence. Additionally, we wanted to enable young people to share their thoughts and knowledge on this topic with a wider audience in the European Union and wider through creative videos on social media. The project was focused on raising awareness among young people about the ethical aspects of artificial intelligence and promoting their active involvement in discussions on technological development, enabling them to make informed decisions in the digital age. Special emphasis was placed on encouraging critical thinking, allowing them to analyze and evaluate the ethical aspects of technological progress and its impact on society. Participants also developed important soft skills such as communication, teamwork, active listening, constructive criticism, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. The project fostered intercultural dialogue and collaboration, as it involved young people from different countries and cultural backgrounds and actively engaged them in discussions on the ethics of artificial intelligence and the creation of creative videos. The project incorporated principles of equality and diversity and was aimed at young people regardless of their background or prior knowledge of artificial intelligence. Through the creation and publication of videos on social media, we aimed to reach a broader public and raise awareness about the ethics of artificial intelligence. The project also promoted tolerance and understanding of different perspectives, as the collaboration of young people from various backgrounds contributed to greater mutual tolerance and respect for diverse viewpoints. Young people were encouraged to continue exploring and discussing the ethics of artificial intelligence and to engage in similar activities after the project's completion. The set goals were successfully implemented, and we achieved the desired impact on the young participants and the wider community. The project contributed to the personal and social development of young people, stimulated international collaboration, and raised awareness about the importance of ethics in the development of artificial intelligence.
