The aim of the project "Click: Subscribe to EU" was to contribute to strategical development of the culture of youth dialogues and to sensitise and empower young people and youth workers for the sustainable, autonomous implementation of youth dialogues – the method they had become familiar with through previous activities of the Youth Network MaMa. They recognised it as highly effective for actively and promptly addressing the challenges and needs of young people and youth work at various decision-making levels. Within the youth dialogue events, they also saw an opportunity to place young people on the decision-making agenda and promote the impact of youth work to enhance its visibility, recognition and acknowledgement. Through the project they aimed to send the message that youth work itself generates active participation among unorganised youth, especially those with fewer opportunities, as youth centres are among the few institutions where these profiles of young people voluntarily engage. The goal of the group of young people and youth workers who initiated the project and actively participated in its implementation was also to inform young people about the role, work and results of the European Parliament (EP) and its impact on our daily lives. Through the activities of the youth dialogue and the project's communication campaign they aimed to encourage young people to participate in the European elections 2024 and, if possible, to actively mobilize their own social networks to participate in the elections. The project activities also aimed to bring young people closer to the opportunities offered by EU programmes for youth, presented through examples of good practice and the results and impact of youth participation in EU programmes and projects, with a focus on the Erasmus+: Youth programme and the European Solidarity Corps. The project's goal was also to empower the young people and youth workers involved in the project team for independent, sustainable implementation of youth dialogues and cooperation with decision-makers, as well as to present good practices in youth work and youth mobilisation, with an emphasis on young people with fewer opportunities, to take an active part within the EU programmes intended for them.
