The project “European Elections - Youth at the Forefront” aimed to achieve several goals. In particular, we wanted to encourage young people to become active citizens. By broadening the horizons and knowledge about the European Union, we worked to improve participants’ understanding of the functioning of the institutions, the electoral process, and our current and future challenges, enabling them to become informed citizens with a clear vision for the future of Europe. We also wanted to explore the impact of European civil society and highlight ways in which young people could contribute more to the political dialogue and decision-making process.
