The project aimed to strengthen the capacity of youth workers to promote social inclusion and diversity through creative and skill-based non-formal education tools. It responded to the growing need for inclusion-oriented approaches in youth work, especially when working with marginalized young people and those facing fewer opportunities. The training course brought together youth workers, educators, and community facilitators from different European countries to exchange knowledge, develop new competences, and explore inclusive methods that can be applied in their local contexts. The main objective was to equip participants with practical tools and competencies that would help them foster inclusion and diversity in their daily youth work. The project focused on developing facilitation skills, intercultural communication, and creative approaches to inclusion such as art-based and experiential learning methods. Through interactive sessions, participants learned how to design and implement inclusive activities that address issues like discrimination, stereotypes, and exclusion in their communities. The project also aimed to build an international network of youth workers committed to inclusion, enabling long-term cooperation among participating organizations. This network was expected to promote peer learning, exchange of good practices, and the joint creation of future projects. By encouraging participants to take an active role in shaping their learning process, the training supported personal and professional growth, empowerment, and increased motivation to work on inclusion-related topics. An additional objective was to enhance participants’ understanding of the European dimension in youth work and their familiarity with Erasmus+ opportunities. By exploring the principles of non-formal education, human rights education, and active citizenship, the training course connected local youth work realities with broader European values. The project created a safe and inclusive learning environment where participants could reflect on their own biases and explore how inclusion can be strengthened through practical action.
