With this project, we aimed to raise awareness of renewable energy sources among young people and raise their knowledge in this area. From the Industrial Revolution to the present day, the risk of depletion and the environmental impacts of fossil energy sources have become clearly evident. Environmental degradation and economic losses resulting from the excessive consumption of fossil fuels have necessitated a shift towards sustainable energy sources. Especially during this period shaping Europe's future, the effects of the climate crisis have become more pronounced, and the importance of renewable energy investments has increased. In this context, our project aimed to explain to young people the environmental and economic importance of renewable energy sources, introduce them to the different uses of these resources, and raise awareness about the hazards of fossil fuels. We also aimed to increase young people's interest in this field and develop support and awareness at the local level. Toward these goals, we organized various training programs, presentations, workshops, technical trips, and intercultural activities throughout the project. We provided a suitable learning environment for participating young people to learn about sustainable energy models and take an active role in this field. The primary objective of this Erasmus Plus project was to raise awareness of renewable energy among young people and raise their knowledge in this area. The specific objectives we set for this purpose were as follows: - Introduce young people to the various uses of renewable energy sources, - Raise awareness among young people by conveying the environmental and economic importance of renewable energy, - Raise awareness among young people about the advantages of renewable energy use, - Raise awareness by explaining the environmental impacts of fossil fuel consumption and global problems to young people, - Increase support and interest in renewable energy at the local level. To achieve these goals, our project included various activities and training programs. We aimed to increase young people's interest in renewable energy and increase their knowledge, contributing to a more sustainable energy model for the future.
