Objectives

In today's world, the reintegration of socially excluded individuals into social life is a critical issue, both for improving their quality of life and for encouraging broader participation in society. This problem exists in many countries and communities and is a significant social concern. The main aim of this project is to develop and implement effective measures for reintegrating socially excluded youth into society. Socially excluded youth are individuals who have been pushed to the margins of society due to economic, social, or cultural difficulties. This problem is a major concern globally and particularly in Europe. In many countries, including Turkey, these young people have to deal with unemployment, lack of education, and psychosocial problems. In addition, research data and sources related to this issue will be presented. For example, according to a study conducted in Turkey, 59% of socially excluded youth reported feeling lonely, 51% were worried about their future, and 47% stated that they lacked self-confidence. These figures highlight the seriousness of the psychological conditions of socially excluded youth. Many countries and international organizations run various programs and projects to reintegrate socially excluded youth into society. However, it is observed that these efforts are insufficient and have not achieved the desired results in motivating young people and improving their competencies. Furthermore, many excluded youth are not aware that social exclusion is a problem for them. Therefore, these young people need to be educated about the importance of reintegration and awareness needs to be raised. In addition, excluded youth often suffer from low self-esteem, communication problems, and emotional difficulties. These problems make it harder for them to adapt to social life. The project aimed to educate participants on why reintegrating excluded youth into society is important. The young participants in the project delivered messages to society through drama performances they prepared. These performances aimed to raise awareness and change society's perspective toward excluded youth. Drama is an effective tool that promotes emotional expression and improves communication skills. This project aimed to enhance the emotional intelligence and communication skills of young people by providing them with drama training. Ultimately, it aimed to increase the self-confidence and communication skills of excluded youth through drama. This helped them better adapt to social life. This project recognized that socially excluded youth not only matter today but also have significant potential to shape the society of the future. Therefore, it provided a long-term solution by developing their talents. This Erasmus project offers an effective pathway for reintegrating socially excluded youth into society and demonstrated the importance of addressing this issue. By using tools such as statistical data, survey results, and drama training, the successful implementation of this project has contributed to reducing social exclusion and has positively impacted the lives of the youth involved. In this context, the overall aim of the project was to include individuals in social life through the method of drama and to help young people gain self-confidence in this area. Our specific objectives were as follows: -To raise awareness among young people about the importance of reintegrating socially excluded youth into society -To teach young people how to use drama as a tool -To improve the self-confidence and communication skills of excluded youth through drama.
