Based on our observations and research, we realized the seriousness of the situation regarding young people's lack of awareness and participation in volunteering. Together with our partners, we decided to implement this project with the aim of strengthening young people’s understanding of volunteering values and equipping them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and awareness related to volunteering. With this project, we aimed to: Empower young people in the field of volunteering and encourage their active participation in their local communities. Raise awareness among young people about the importance of volunteering and promote their engagement in volunteer activities. Develop young people’s ability to analyze social issues and create their own volunteer initiatives. Increase the level of active citizenship and youth participation, especially among young people with fewer opportunities. Encourage social interaction and revive young people's interest in volunteering, especially in the post-COVID-19 period, where participation in social activities had significantly declined. Share best practices in youth work and foster cooperation and volunteering values among partner organizations. Promote intercultural exchange, mutual understanding, and tolerance among young people from different countries. Strengthen young people’s sense of belonging to their increasingly diverse communities.
