It is evident that in today's world—where communication networks and access to information have become globalized and largely uncontrollable—individuals are increasingly exposed to information that contains disinformation. In such a context, the unconscious use of social platforms has led to serious negative consequences. Disinformation often creates obstacles to accessing accurate information, fuels hate crimes, polarizes societies, weakens democratic processes, and causes distrust between individuals. The main objective of our project titled "Let’s Spread the Truth!" is to teach the correct and conscious use of some of the most valuable, accessible, and developmental resources of our time, and to minimize the harmful effects caused by disinformation. • In this regard, the project—based on the perspective of youth work—aimed to achieve the following goals: • To develop young people's ability to critically evaluate information in the media and access accurate information, • To promote collaboration among participants from different cultures through impartial approaches to social issues, • To enhance intercultural dialogue among youth workers, • To instill the habit of investigating the reliability of sources, • To increase awareness of the consequences of disinformation and strengthen the motivation to fight against it, • To help participants learn about and integrate cultural elements and habits from different cultures in order to promote a more tolerant world, • To create youth-oriented tools and methods to combat disinformation (e.g. workshops, presentations, posters, blog articles, etc.), • To improve participants' ability to develop their own cultural competencies, • To encourage collaboration in combating information pollution in their own countries, • To introduce and promote the Youthpass tool and increase knowledge about the Erasmus+ programme, • To improve participants' English language skills, • To support participant groups in becoming active organizations in the fight against disinformation and in contributing to national policies, • To strengthen activities that support national policies, • To empower young participants to become more aware of their own knowledge and skills. Through these goals, the project aimed to build social awareness across participating countries and to establish networks of solidarity in the fight against disinformation. A key priority was to encourage youth to play an active role in this effort and to take the lead in raising public awareness on the issue.
