Objectives

The primary objective of the project is to raise young people's technical and social awareness in the face of increasing underwater pollution and environmental degradation, strengthen their capacity to develop solutions in this area, and contribute to the development of environmental policies based on sustainability principles. To this end, the project aimed to introduce the AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) technology developed within the scope of the project, increase its technical capacity, and evaluate its applicability in combating environmental pollution. The aim was to disseminate this autonomous system, capable of underwater solid waste detection, among young people in terms of both technological innovation and environmental impact. Furthermore, the project supported young engineering students to practice and improve their knowledge and skills, while also fostering the exchange of ideas, cultural interaction, and shared values on an international platform. From a youth work perspective, the project aligns strongly with the Erasmus+ objectives, contributing to key elements such as individual development, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, and inclusiveness. The content designed to achieve these goals was designed with a multifaceted approach, encompassing technical, social, and digital dimensions.
