Objectives

The project titled Social Entrepreneurship Academy Program primarily aimed to increase youth participation in civil society through the lens of social entrepreneurship, enhance their capacity to develop solutions to local societal problems, and provide a platform through which they could directly contribute to decision-making processes. The main objectives of the project can be summarized as follows: - To equip young people with fundamental social entrepreneurship skills such as business plan development, innovation, leadership, sustainability, and resource mobilization through academy programs organized in five cities: Ankara, Trabzon, Diyarbakır, Kayseri, and Istanbul. - To build the capacity of young participants to engage in local decision-making processes by organizing workshops and summits where they could express their ideas and perspectives. - To compile and report the findings collected through surveys, observations, and evaluations conducted after each event, and to share these reports with institutions such as the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Interior, and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. - To foster a youth network that is informed about social entrepreneurship, has gained volunteering experience, and is motivated to produce solutions, ensuring that this community remains active beyond the project’s lifetime. Within this framework, the project aimed to empower young people in the field of social entrepreneurship, enable them to develop concrete solutions to social issues, and create a participatory environment where these solutions could be directly presented to decision-makers.
