The project aimed to strengthen the competences of adult education staff in teaching democracy, civic participation and human rights in diverse learning environments. Through cooperation and innovative methods combining civic education and nature-based learning, the project sought to provide practical tools that can be integrated into teaching and further shared within the organisation and professional networks.
The project responds to the need for inclusive and participatory civic education in times of increasing social challenges. Roma VHS, as an adult education provider working with diverse and disadvantaged groups, aimed to strengthen staff competences through holistic and experiential approaches. Despite necessary adaptations due to practical constraints, the project ensured strong learning outcomes, reinforced local impact, and contributed to inclusive and innovative adult education practices.
