1) Application of innovative manufacturing and programming methods for the efficient production of components. 2) Europe should be recognised as a common living and working space. The project was carried out jointly by the participating apprentices in Graz and Nuremberg. 3) Testing new learning and teaching methods and approaches. The project design meant that the teachers and apprentices were on a hierarchical level. The classic teacher-student relationship did not exist.
The Landesberufsschule Graz 1 (LBS1) is a vocational school with apprentices who mainly come from industry. The apprenticeship in mechanical engineering technology with the special module automation technology is the basis for the subject-specific objectives of the project. The project was planned with our partner organisation on this basis. LBS1 does not have a robotics laboratory, so the collaboration with Berufliche Schule 2 in Nuremberg is an ideal complement to the facilities at LBS1.
