Objectives

The project aimed to create a holistic and sustainable approach to youth work, addressing critical challenges such as mental health decline, youth disengagement, and environmental awareness. To achieve this, 7 specialized mobility activities were designed to equip both youth workers and young people with practical tools, skills, and knowledge. Objective 1: Tackling Youth Isolation and Mental Health Decline Our primary goal was to address the growing isolation and mental health challenges faced by young people - especially those who became increasingly detached from society during global lockdowns. To prevent the worsening of social isolation, unhealthy habits, and psychological distress, the project focused on equipping youth workers and young people with the skills to foster physical activity, outdoor engagement, movement, and self-care. • A7: Outdoor adventures for wellbeing and selfcare. Focus: Using outdoor environments, physical exercise, and self-care practices to improve youth mental health, foster social inclusion, and combat isolation. • A9: Dance it out! - Dancing and Movement for Mental Health. Focus: Exploring physical movement and dance as creative, accessible tools to relieve distress, boost mental well-being, and re-engage young people socially. • A5: Reasoning and Reflection. Focus: Providing youth workers with critical thinking, reflection, and analytical tools. Objective 2: Encouraging Political Engagement and Active Citizenship To counter political apathy, populism, and ideological extremism, this objective focused on re-engaging youth with democratic processes. By promoting active citizenship and open dialogue, the project aimed to show young people the relevance of policymaking and empower them to make informed choices for the future of their communities and the EU. • A3: Putting the pieces together! Focus: Bringing together young people from four European countries to discuss their responsibilities in society, learn how to actively engage with their communities, and contribute to the future of the EU - specially highlighted around Europe Day (May 9th). Training participants to master multimedia platforms as creative tools for youth advocacy and self-expression. Empowering youth to address key societal issues with innovative ideas, developing adaptable projects that they can directly implement in their home communities after the exchange. • A6: Inter ACT 2025. Focus: Training youth workers on Erasmus+ Quality Standards, digital project delivery, and inclusive frameworks. By improving the quality of Youth Exchanges, youth workers create safe and structured spaces where disengaged youth can speak up, debate, and practice active citizenship. • A8: Inclusion and Diversity in Youth Work. Focus: Equipping youth workers with strategies to break down barriers to participation, ensuring marginalized and underrepresented youth can access democratic processes and civic engagement initiatives. Objective 3: Promoting Sustainability Awareness and Practical Solutions This goal focused on raising awareness across the three pillars of sustainability: social, environmental, and economic. Through practical learning experiences, participants explored real-world solutions that encourage sustainable living without compromising quality of life. • A4: Green, Safe, Sustainable, Mobile! Focus: Engaging young people directly in eco-friendly practices, sustainable mobility, and practical solutions for greener daily living.
