Through this Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation project, we wanted to create meaningful international learning opportunities for young people and youth workers while strengthening our organisation for the future. Our aim was to make European mobility accessible to participants with different backgrounds, especially those with fewer opportunities, and to support their personal, social and professional development. We wanted to encourage active participation, intercultural understanding, European values and self-confidence through practical learning experiences. At the same time, we aimed to build long-term partnerships, improve the quality of our international youth work and establish a strong European network that will continue beyond this project period. Another important goal was the continuous development of SUPPORT4youth.eu as a learning organisation. We wanted to improve our internal structures, introduce new digital tools and working methods, strengthen our quality management and make our organisation more professional and better prepared for future international cooperation. The project was based on the four main objectives of our Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation. The first objective was to promote active European citizenship by helping young people experience participation, democratic processes and their own ability to contribute to society. The second objective was to strengthen inclusion by creating meaningful participation opportunities for disadvantaged young people and supporting their self-confidence, recognition and sense of belonging. The third objective was the relief of the social system through empowerment. We wanted to help young people develop new perspectives, take more responsibility for their own lives and strengthen their ability to become active members of society. Through positive experiences of self-empowerment, participants should be encouraged to shape their lives more independently, improve their future prospects and reduce the risk of long-term dependence on social support. The fourth objective was to raise awareness of our responsibility to the environment. We wanted to help participants understand the impact of their actions, recognise their own possibilities to contribute to positive change and develop sustainable initiatives together with partners from other countries. Non-formal learning was the main educational approach used to reach these objectives. Through practical workshops, group activities, peer learning, reflection, creative methods, outdoor learning and intercultural exchange, participants could learn from their own experiences and take an active role in the learning process. This was especially important for young people who had difficulties in formal education or who had limited positive learning experiences in the past. In addition, we wanted to improve the quality of our mobility activities, strengthen our organisational capacity, develop new working methods and expand our European network. These organisational objectives supported the implementation of the four accreditation goals and helped us create more sustainable and higher-quality international learning opportunities.
