The primary objective of the youth exchange program "Active Voices: Empowering European Youth for Change" was to empower young individuals, enabling them to become proactive citizens who engaged in decision-making processes within their local communities on local and national levels, thereby influencing decisions that impacted their lives. The specific goals and aims of this youth exchange program were as follows: - Enhancing the participants' competencies in youth participation involves deepening their understanding of the significance of youth involvement, developing essential skills for active participation, fostering a positive attitude towards engaging in decision-making processes, and motivating them to take an active role in shaping their communities. - Investigating and exploring diverse forms of youth participation found within the participating countries, which include youth organizations, youth clubs, and youth parliaments. - Facilitating the exchange of best practices and experiences among the participating countries with the aim of inspiring and encouraging young people to become more actively involved in their respective communities. - Examining the concept of youth participation in the context of establishing a democratic and inclusive society, involving ensuring that all demographic groups have the right to participate in decision-making processes, regardless of their ethnicity, social status, while upholding the principles of the rule of law and freedom. - Empowering and motivating participants to increase their level of involvement and engagement in various decision-making processes. - Providing information about the Erasmus + Programme for the years 2021 – 2027, encouraging young participants to take advantage of the opportunities it offers. - Disseminating information about youth participation through social media channels and generating interest among young people from participating communities on the topic of youth participation. - Developing short videos on the subject of youth participation with the objective of promoting the topic within participating communities during follow-up events.
