Objectives

In an era filled with unpredictable challenges and rapid changes in society, stress has emerged as a critical concern for young people. Young people faced alarmingly high stress levels. Academic pressures, career uncertainties, peer pressure, societal standards, and health concerns were some of the stressors that youngsters faced. The implications of this stress epidemic were far-reaching, leading to issues such as anxiety, depression, and a host of other health-related problems. With the "From Stress to Success: The Sport Solution" initiative, we aimed to empower young people to use sports as an effective tool in combating stress. By using sports as a tool, we created a simple and easy way to handle stress. Our project aimed to accomplish the following objectives: - Improve the well-being of participants through physical activity - Empower young people to learn effective ways of dealing with stress - Increase the stress resilience and improve the mental health of youth and their local communities - Develop communication and leadership skills in participants while working in a multicultural environment - Increase the cultural awareness of young people through engaging in sports with people from different cultural backgrounds - Help participants realize their European identity as well as the opportunities that the Erasmus+ programme offers - Encourage participants to share the results from the project through follow-up activities in their communities "From Stress to Success: The Sport Solution" was a tool that helped young people who battled stress on a daily basis. The project's impact spread across the communities, ensuring that different age groups benefited from sports. By using different sports exercises, non-formal methodology, and stress management techniques, participants experienced an improvement in their mental and physical health.
