Teachers need support through guidance, concepts, practical examples and dialogue to promote digital literacy and counter disinformation effectively in order to develop critical thinking in learners, especially when dealing with algorithms, 'information bubbles' and 'echo chambers'. The main goal is to empower educators to awaken young people's interest in serious journalism, promote critical media literacy and raise awareness of AI and fake news.
