Forêt.Nature aims to support foresters in adapting their management practices to climate change. The project has three specific objectives: - to adapt and expand its training provision; - to strengthen the technical team’s expertise, knowledge and teaching methods in order to provide tailored responses to foresters’ queries; - to intensify international cooperation in order to best meet, collectively, the adaptation needs of foresters across Europe.
Forêt.Nature (FONA) is primarily dedicated to providing continuing professional training on resilient management of natural environments, particularly forests. Today, climate change is having a severe impact on our forests, and it is therefore essential to adapt forest management and, in the case of Forêt.Nature, to adapt training programs in order to support foresters in developing the knowledge and skills needed to improve the resilience of their stands.
