The objective of the project was to gain new learning impulses, methods and approaches for non-formal adult education through theatre by means of exchange with European organisations. The project aimed to further develop educational offers in order to address underrepresented target groups, as well as issues of diversity and sustainability. The newly gained insights were intended to feed into the educational work of OPENDOEK and its members and to strengthen cultural engagement.
OPENDOEK is the organisation which facilitates, inspires and supports performing art in leisure time in Flanders and Brussels. With the grant we aimed to instigate our international network and tackle subjects as inclusion, sustainability and rejuvination with organisation like our own. This also paves a way for the companies that we support to eventually set out and discover the international field.
