The project "Exploration of European Identity in Performing Arts" had three objectives: promoting inclusion and diversity by connecting participants with European arts traditions in Spain, Portugal, and Croatia; strengthening European citizenship through cultural exchange and improving education quality at AMWD Bornem by learning from partner institutions.
Academie Muziek Woord Dans Bornem is an arts school with 55 years of experience, offering music, theatre, and dance to 1.152 students aged 6 to 100. Over a quarter are adults, one fifth follow an adapted curriculum. After gaining international experience as a partner in the Erasmus+ KA2 ALCHEMIA project, AMWD Bornem applied for this KA122-ADU project to explore Spanish, Portuguese, and Croatian performing arts and culture.
