We aimed to prepare learners for lifelong and life-wide learning by strengthening their professional, personal and international competences. Through work placements abroad, learners developed 21st-century skills such as communication, adaptability and self-reliance. We also aimed to offer learners with fewer opportunities a meaningful international experience and to strengthen expertise and international networks within our Musical Instrument Building department.
CVO Antwerpen is a centre for adult education within Flemish Community Education, serving over 11,500 adult learners annually. It offers over 60 programmes in Dutch as a second language, personal and professional development, adult secondary education and vocational training. Building on previous Erasmus+ experience, this project focused on developing learners' competences in vocational pathways and Musical Instrument Building while strengthening the internationalisation of our centre.
