With this project we want to work on the barriers that can hold us back, outside and inside ourselves, and learn to overcome them. We want to bring together people - with and without disabilities - who don't usually mix and we want work together on values and skills linked to empathy, generosity, mutual aid and solidarity. We are building the project with young people, with and without disabilities and from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. Through this project, we want to encourage their involvement and responsibility in order to work on their confidence and self-esteem. The methods used are directly inspired by non-formal learning and enable informal learning. More precisely, the objectives of this project are: - Promote the meeting of young people, disabled or not, in order to create an environment of mutual learning; - Encourage the exchange of experiences and points of view between young people with and without disabilities in order to: promote solidarity, empathy and understanding of each person's challenges and opportunities; - Promote the inclusion of young people with disabilities in leisure activities and youth projects by providing them with an inclusive environment. - Enable young people with disabilities to develop their personal and social skills, their self-esteem and self-confidence, as well as their feeling of autonomy. - Raise awareness throughout society of the inclusion of people with disabilities, particularly in the context of young projects and intercultural exchanges. To achieve these objectives, the project must be well planned and organized, taking into account the needs and preferences of the young participants, providing an accessible and inclusive environment, training youth workers and leaders in inclusion people with disabilities, and by working in partnership with local organizations of young people and people with disabilities.
