Objectives

The implementation of this project is based on the observation: - That we, FRMJC and ICJ, share a similar audience, practices and beliefs, although with many nuances. This which motivates us to increase opportunities to enrich each other for the benefit of our networks and young people; - That youth work must target the development in young people of their skills to participate in the debate on social issues, to express oneself on them, to build critical reflection as well as to build spaces commitment; - The need to support youth professionals in collective reflection on methods concrete educational measures to be implemented to achieve this goal; - That the exploration of professional realities outside national borders is a necessity, making it possible to respond both to the requests of participants and to the educational requirement of taking a step back from practices. This is how a desire to collaborate once again was confirmed between the FRMJC and the ICJ. The objectives of this project are therefore of : 1/ Bring together professionals and youth volunteers working in specific contexts with audiences similar, 2/ Lead participants to verbalize their own practice through the presentation of their actions, 3/ Discover different modes of animation and question the conditions of their transfer into their own organizations, 4/ Discover innovative actions on social issues implemented by other operators, 5/ Cross-analyze practices in order to refine understanding of the issues at stake and the processes that support them, 6/ Strengthen the educational capacities of participants to design and implement a project linked to their public and the social issues that affect them, 7/ Address the complexity of issues linked to current societal questions. This will also be an opportunity to address the notion of interculturality since these societal questions are not necessarily approached in the same way from one country to the other. Confrontation with other points of view, other references and explanatory hypotheses will reinforce the evolution expected professional posture, 8/ Build a collective map of the learning experiences (which will be done each day at the end of the day). It's about a methodology which makes it possible to formalize the experiences of each participant and which supports the reappropriation of collective knowledge, 9 / Build a learning journal for each participant. A methodology from non-formal education, this journal makes it possible to capitalize on learning on a day-to-day basis, and to identify the extensions of the experience beyond the project, in connection with one's youth professional project. By aiming for these objectives, we wish to enable the youth professionals participating in this experience to open up their field of possibilities and become more broadly aware of the challenges of their profession as well as the existing levers practiced beyond borders.
