Objectives

As part of our accreditation (2021-2027) we have developed an European youth exchange under the name "BODY+MIND=1" in 2024 in order to consolidate our accreditation in its 3 initial objectives, which are namely: 1. Extend our partnership actions with youth international organizations. 2. Encourage non formal learning and intercultural dialogue among young people with fewer opportunities. 3. Develop the attitudes and life skills of the young beneficiaries. This project not only meets the initial objectives because we were able to expand our international network by welcoming 3 new partners with whom we used non-formal education to set up a path of individual and collective awareness of our being and our multiple identities, but also to empower the youngsters by acting on their behaviors and attitudes during the whole project. The specific objectives of the "Body + Mind = 1" project were as follows:  To understand the benefits of the balance between body (physical apparencies and the 5 senses) , mind (knowledge) and soul (spiritual)  To raise awareness about the positive and negative connection of the body and mind.  To work on inclusion and participation through non formal education activities taking into account our diversity.  To sensitive youngsters to involve in their own communities and help for inclusive and respectful spaces.  To use sport and relaxation workshops for development and prevention: for personal development, self-awareness and prevention to provide young participants with knowledge and skills for positive mental wellbeing. It is important to take into consideration that the 2 previous European youth exchanges (2022-2023) were focus and developed on intercultural dialogue topic, a theme that allowed young people to know themselves better and develop skills to better open up to others, to better exchange and better participate in projects in the presence of beneficiaries from diverse backgrounds. The project on body and mind is therefore complementary and has made it possible to raise awareness among young people about the complexity of their individual identities. But multiple identity also a question of taking into account a social, cultural, intellectual, spiritual, material and economic dimension. Today, we understand that our identity includes the body, mind and soul as interconnected entities of our being.
