Objectives

The "RESPECT ME" project aimed to continue addressing urgent issues related to harassment and to promote a culture of respect and inclusion among young people. Through non-formal education, the project sought to empower participants by providing them with the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to become agents of change in their environment and society. Regarding environmental sustainability and responsibility, we drafted a charter concerning both internal and external regulations. In terms of hybrid mobility, we used a combination of different public transportation methods. We had to adapt and make choices based on pricing. For certain activities, we rented a coach with a driver, while other participants used public transport. The main objectives were as follows: Harassment Prevention: Raising awareness and implementing preventive measures against different forms of harassment to foster safer and more respectful environments. Boosting Self-Esteem: Helping young people, especially those who have experienced harassment or face challenges, to develop a positive self-image and strengthen their confidence in their abilities. Promoting Respect and Tolerance: Encouraging mutual understanding and acceptance of cultural, ethnic, and individual differences. Developing Social and Emotional Skills: Providing participants with tools to better manage their emotions, resolve conflicts, and build healthy relationships. Encouraging International Collaboration: Enriching participants' experiences through cultural exchanges such as Erasmus+ and collaborations with peers from different countries while strengthening a sense of European unity. In summary, the project aimed to create a respectful and inclusive environment, allowing young people to thrive, feel valued, and actively contribute to their communities.
