With Community Connectors (CoCo), YOUCA mobilized almost twenty young people in 3 Flemish cities in Belgium to work around the human right to a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment. By stimulating their knowledge and creativity, the youth organized an action with an expert organization in the city to stimulate local and impactful change. Our goals: 1) Young people are given a platform to speak about the importance of a just and sustainable future. 2) Young people are challenged and motivated to think creatively. 3) Young people are given a safe(r) space where they meet with likeminded peers. 4) Young people are given the opportunity to gain insights and knowledge outside of a school context around a human right.
