Objectives

The Unthinkable Experiment (TUE) aims to empower young people to engage in meaningful discussions that will shape their futures. By creating a safe and open environment, TUE encourages participants to tackle complex social issues, challenge existing beliefs, and explore diverse perspectives through dialogue, experimentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Key Objectives of TUE: Inspire Broadened Horizons: Encourage participants to expand their perspectives by interacting with individuals from varied backgrounds, fostering unconventional insights. Foster Engagement: Cultivate critical and creative thinkers who can act as change agents and articulate voices for the future. Illuminate Alternative Pathways: Equip young participants with the confidence and tools to explore innovative solutions to contemporary challenges in culture, nature, and sustainable community development. Facilitate Self-Discovery: Create a supportive environment for exploring identities, fostering self-expression, and addressing unresolved questions and conflicting visions. Promote Ideation: Organize a three-day ideation phase for participants to generate and share radical ideas on pressing social issues. Build Community: Establish a strong sense of community that emphasizes inclusivity and collective responsibility among participants. Encourage Reflection: Stimulate critical thinking on identity, community, diversity, and inclusivity through group discussions and individual interviews. Facilitate Co-Creation: Engage participants in a collaborative process to transform their ideas into tangible outcomes. Bridge Concepts and Disciplines: Create a platform for exploring the intersections of art, science, and community. Cultivate Leadership: Develop emerging leaders who can bring innovative ideas back to their local communities. Create Lasting Impact: Equip participants with a global perspective and a commitment to instigate positive change in their environments. Ultimately, TUE seeks to make the unthinkable thinkable, emphasizing the importance of the journey and the process of exploration over the final outcomes. By fostering critical and creative thinking, TUE aims to strengthen participants' confidence in shaping the future and addressing the significant challenges of our time.
