The main goal of the project is to increase the transversal competences of the tourist information experts in the Thracian tourist region. Specific objectives: Development of general digital skills of experts in tourist informattion centres. Developing skills for networking and collaborating with other professionals and stakeholders. Improving the effective communication skills of experts in tourist centers. Improving language skills. Fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity.
The development of tourism on the territory of the Thracian Tourist Region depends on the competences of the tourism information experts, both transversal and professional. Although much of the staff has good training, they need to develop skills that are increasingly necessary, such as effective communication, foreign language skills, digital tools and green skills. The lack of these skills hinders the provision of high quality services to local and foreign tourists.
