1) Capacity building of the Bulgarian permaculture community of practice. 2) Expand the network of partner organizations. 3) Have more people in the team with diverse permaculture competences. 4) Support LAND candidates in their development. 5) Learn from and experience good practices in other countries. The objectives of the project are mainly about building capacity for the LAND team; however, the core of permaculture is about environmental, social and economic sustainability.
The Bulgarian permaculture community of practice needs further development of systems that can: 1) Enable people to create a livelihood from permaculture, 2) Make permaculture and its sustainable, practical solutions more visible, 3) Support workshops, courses and training in permaculture to be more widespread and of higher quality. The LAND project is an acronym for Learning, Activity, Network and Demonstration for permaculture and is a well-tested system to meet these needs.
