Since the current project was implemented within the framework of the received Accreditation under the Erasmus+ programme, the activities set out in it and their objectives correspond to the global objectives that we have set in the Accreditation plan until 2027, namely the following: Objective 1. Promoting non-formal education among young people as a determining factor for their personal and professional realization - by providing young people with the opportunity for personal and professional realization that will prepare them for their future social roles and improve their adaptability to the environment: We have increased the importance of the skills acquired through non-formal education as being as key to the personal and professional realization of the individual as those acquired from the formal education system. Within the framework of the implemented activities, transversal skills acquired through learning through experience and participation in an intercultural environment were promoted. This contributed to the personal development, easier adaptation and professional orientation of young people and youth workers in the dynamic modern community. Participation in activities under the Erasmus+ Programme's KA1 has proven to be an effective tool for developing flexibility, decision-making skills in non-standard situations, building contacts and networks, as well as for the personal expression of the participants. Objective 2. Promoting civic activity and volunteering among young people: We created conditions for better access of young people and youth workers to information, opportunities for self-expression and participation in initiatives of public importance. We supported the process of building youth communities and interest groups, in which participants support each other and share values and ideas, and encourage each other for future actions. By including them in their own initiatives and formats for non-formal learning, young people increased their self-esteem, developed advocacy skills and an active civic position. We raised the awareness of the participants (youth workers and young people) about the forms of civic participation at the European level and overall increased their motivation for active participation in civic and democratic processes at both local and national levels. Objective 3. Improving the quality of youth work at national, European and international levels through the exchange of experience and expertise with other youth organizations and educational institutions: To the extent that the scale of the current project allows, we responded to the challenges faced by youth work in the post-pandemic context by initiating an exchange of good practices and joint strategies for the emotional, mental and social recovery of young people, placing a strong emphasis on combating social isolation using various tools. Specifically within this project and the activities implemented within it, we have once again witnessed the need for constant adaptation to the needs of young people, which require a horizontal approach in youth work from the perspective of mental health, which is influenced by various factors, including the growing wars in the EU’s neighboring countries, uncertainty about the future and the impact of technology. We supported the building of sustainable partnerships between organizations with different capacities and expertise. Inter-sectoral cooperation and the building of networks to facilitate the sharing of resources and solutions were encouraged. Objective 4. Promoting human rights, equality and solidarity by ensuring equal access for young people in disadvantaged situations in local, national and international youth projects: We have placed a particular focus on promoting human rights, equality and solidarity by ensuring equal access for young people and youth workers in disadvantaged situations. The project provided opportunities for the inclusion of participants with fewer opportunities — including those from small settlements, socially vulnerable groups, economically disadvantaged families, those facing discrimination, educational difficulties, but also mental health challenges. Additional individual support and adapted work formats were provided, which allowed for the active participation, expression and development of the personal potential of each person involved.
