Objectives

The project represents the third annual plan of the accreditation in the "Youth" sector of the Infinite Opportunities Association and follows the two main goals of the organization, outlined at the accreditation stage, namely to contribute to the development of a network of trained specialists at national and European level who know and use various human rights training tools, as well as to provide various opportunities for young people through participation in youth exchanges to acquire competences and grow as individuals through non-formal and independent learning. Within the framework of the current Erasmus+ KA151 - Youth sector project, two youth exchanges and two trainings for youth workers were implemented, which clearly demonstrate the added value of non-formal learning and transnational cooperation. For the young participants, the exchange of experience and cultural dialogue became a source of personal development - they acquired new competences related to intercultural communication, teamwork, critical thinking and active civic participation. Many of them shared that their participation contributed to increasing their self-confidence, to a clearer awareness of their own strengths and to a bolder readiness to initiate changes in their communities. On the other hand, the trainings for youth workers contributed to building a sustainable network of trained professionals who know and apply human rights training tools. This not only enriched their professional capacity, but also laid the foundation for future joint initiatives at national and European level. In this way, the project fulfills its goals of combining the personal growth of young people with the strengthening of the professional community of youth workers – two mutually reinforcing processes that respond to the priorities of the EU Youth Strategy 2019–2027 and the European Youth Goals, especially in the area of inclusion and empowerment of young people.
