Objectives

"The youth explore the inclusive power of sport for disabled individuals" Erasmus+ youth project promotes understanding of social inclusion by young people through sports participation. Societies require a deeper comprehension of inclusive sports' underlying principles and unifying power. The needs of the disabled are many, both socially and physically. The people with disabilities should have access to more opportunities and resources so they can meet their needs. Apart from this, it has been decided that institutions of the European Union, especially those that support the disabled, must offer more opportunities to both their own volunteers and the disabled individuals they support. The objectives include raising awareness about the presence and needs of disabled individuals through sport, supporting their social participation, and teaching disability-friendly sport activities for promotion in partner communities. Additionally, there's a focus on raising awareness in European Sport Week and increasing visibility of the Balkan Wheelchair Basketball League. Campaigns will be created to promote inclusion through sport in each participating community. The aim is to ensure a correct understanding of inclusion through sport among participants and to increase the use of sports as a tool for inclusion in partner communities. Efforts will also be made to promote regulations related to disabilities and sports among participating organizations, and to support policies related to the inclusion of disabled individuals in the EU and the country.
