Objectives

Our objectives are: *To raise awareness about 'Cultural Heritage' with intertwined concepts such as 'Sustainability, Common Values' through different interdisciplinary subjects such as History, English, Art,Science etc, *Developing the academic and social skills of teachers and learners by using innovative methodologies/strategies within the scope of our project theme, *Absorbing history and causes from one action to another; to see the reflections in all areas of life.

Background

Our needs are * boosting interest in History, culture, and national heritage * enhancing citizenship *overcoming cultural and language differences We applied for this Erasmus+ project to modernize the way history is taught and learned within our institution. Traditional approaches to history education often focus on memorization of facts, which can limit students’ engagement, critical thinking, and ability to connect historical knowledge to current global contexts. Our goal was to transform history education by integrating 21st-century skills, such as: Critical Thinking and Media Literacy Students need tools to critically analyze historical sources, question narratives, and differentiate between factual information and misinformation—especially in today’s digital media environment. Digital Competence We saw a growing need to enhance both teachers’ and students’ digital skills. This includes using technology for historical research, multimedia storytelling, virtual museum tours, and interactive timelines. Collaboration and Communication - History is not just about the past; it’s about how we discuss, interpret, and share stories.
