The project aimed to strengthen participants’ digital skills and intercultural competencies by exposing them to innovative educational models and ICT practices in Finland. It sought to enhance professional growth, promote European cooperation, and support the adoption of inclusive, technology-driven teaching methods. The ultimate goal was to foster active citizenship, digital literacy, and a broader understanding of education in a European context.
The project is rooted in the organisation’s commitment to a European intercultural perspective, promoting cooperation, exchange of experiences, and the development of educational practices shaped by diverse cultural contexts. Italy was selected for its expertise in European citizenship education, while Finland renowned as the most digitised country in Europe was chosen to enhance digital skills, thanks to its advanced digital literacy and innovative ICT approaches.
