The project aimed to improve the quality and attractiveness of VET in Cyprus by learning from other European systems. It focused on exchanging good practices, strengthening cooperation networks and enhancing staff skills, especially in digital, green and innovative technologies. Additionally, it sought to promote VET and increase participation by improving its image and relevance to labour market needs.
The project was implemented by the Department of Secondary Technical and Vocational Education and Training (DSTVET) of the Ministry of Education in Cyprus, responsible for public VET provision. It addresses key challenges such as low participation in VET, negative perceptions and the need for digital and green skills. The project supports the modernisation, attractiveness and quality improvement of VET through European cooperation and mobility activities.
