The CAREPRENEUR project was designed to address the growing need for digital entrepreneurship skills and emotional intelligence among youth workers. The rapid digital transformation of workspaces, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighted significant gaps in digital competencies while also bringing new emotional challenges. Many youth workers and young entrepreneurs struggle with resilience, self-awareness, and empathy key skills needed to navigate digital interactions effectively and build sustainable businesses. Through this project, we sought to equip youth workers with the necessary tools to develop digital business plans while fostering emotional intelligence to enhance their ability to connect with audiences, manage relationships, and handle challenges in the digital space. A key objective of CAREPRENEUR was to empower youth workers by strengthening their digital entrepreneurship skills. The project provided them with practical knowledge on digital business planning, brand identity, digital marketing, and innovation, ensuring they could confidently develop and manage digital enterprises. At the same time, it placed a strong emphasis on Digital Emotional Intelligence (DEQ), helping participants cultivate empathy, self-awareness, and emotional resilience qualities essential for fostering meaningful online interactions and maintaining well-being in digital environments. Social inclusion was another fundamental pillar of the project. CAREPRENEUR aimed to provide equal learning opportunities for youth workers from diverse backgrounds, including those with fewer resources, ensuring that they could access valuable training and contribute to their communities through digital entrepreneurship. By incorporating interactive workshops and hands-on learning experiences, participants engaged in methodologies such as design thinking and empathy mapping, allowing them to create and refine their digital projects. Additionally, the project sought to address the emotional impact of digital work environments, helping youth workers build resilience against stress, anxiety, and burnout. By integrating emotional intelligence into digital entrepreneurship training, CAREPRENEUR promoted a more holistic approach to business development, ensuring that participants were not only skilled in technical aspects but also in managing their mental well-being. Finally, the project fostered international collaboration and networking, connecting youth workers from different cultural backgrounds to exchange ideas, collaborate on projects, and share best practices in digital entrepreneurship. By achieving these objectives, CAREPRENEUR aimed to bridge the gap between digital skills and emotional intelligence, ensuring that youth workers were better equipped to create, manage, and sustain digital businesses while fostering meaningful and empathetic online interactions.
