Objectives

In this project, we carried out two youth exchanges. Through these exchanges, we aimed to contribute to the development of young people’s non-formal education, to increase their openness towards other cultures, to create opportunities for them to get to know each other better, to discover what connects young people, and to understand the differences that should not be feared, but rather discovered, understood, and accepted. The exchanges aimed to support the development of participants’ competences, strengthen their empathy, reduce prejudice, and promote tolerance towards people from different cultural and social backgrounds. We wanted the exchanges to influence not only the direct participants but also their wider community — including their families, friends, classmates, and the community around the Klubíčko Kroměříž organization. We also expected a significant benefit for our local youth from small towns, villages, and rural areas — broadening their horizons and gaining experiences useful for their studies, future professional lives, and personal growth. We believe that participation in the project helps to reduce the gap between urban and rural youth and fosters the development of their potential. The exchange programmes focused on current topics shaping today’s society, always approached through non-formal education methods: intercultural sharing, cooperation, sustainable lifestyles, gender equality, critical thinking, digital literacy, and the healthy use of modern technologies. We created a safe space for learning, sharing experiences, and jointly seeking answers to the challenges of today’s world. Project objectives: To develop young people’s key competences through intercultural cooperation To activate youth from rural areas To strengthen youth competences in the fields of sustainability, gender equality, and digitalization
