Objectives

The HTWG Konstanz - University of Applied Sciences is a modern university with a practice-oriented focus. It offers a broad range of academic disciplines and benefits from an interdisciplinary approach as well as the integration of theory and practice. The university places a high priority on its international orientation, as it is of great importance for the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as for the university’s continued internationalization. Participation in the ERASMUS program supports the strategic goal of opening up successful career and life opportunities for students from diverse educational backgrounds and origins. Participation in the ERASMUS program serves to make the already established components of the degree program—study abroad, the development of intercultural competencies for the globalized workplace, and the acquisition or advancement of foreign language skills—the norm and to further expand them. The university’s increasing internationalization is significantly supported by the recognition of academic achievements earned abroad through the ECTS system and by financial support for students provided by the ERASMUS program. As part of the ERASMUS program, the university currently has over 40 partnerships with European universities.
