Objectives

The project aimed to enhance employees' AI skills to better respond to developments and societal needs. The acquired knowledge will be integrated into the foundation’s practical work, such as through "train-the-trainer" formats. Additionally, the project seeks to foster European AI exchange by supporting networking and dialogue with other AI experts, enabling the development and testing of joint activities that enrich European collaboration.

Background

The Digital Opportunities Foundation (SDC) in Berlin promotes a digital society, inclusion, and competence. It operates nationally and across Europe and has participated in several Erasmus+ projects. Given its growth and the increasing importance of AI, it was essential to provide targeted training for employees. The Erasmus+ mobility program offered an opportunity to explore new AI tools and assess their potential for the foundation’s work.
