We achieved: Increased capacity to offer education that encouraged a cross sectoral and socially inclusive civic response to the ‘climate neutral by 2050’ goal. Increased education for disadvantaged groups to support their inclusion in emerging climate responses. Increased the provision of civic leadership education to encourage community-led responses to climate change. Increased our offer of blended learning activities and opportunities to engage and exchange with other learners online.
Movement Hub provides adult education, training, networking and structural support to German civic groups. This project supported us in improving our education provision by addressing challenges related to the lack of cross-sectoral responses to the interconnected issues of climate change; the underrepresentation of disadvantaged communities in civic responses to environmental and social issues; and difficulties in fostering effective community leadership.
