The aim was to specifically promote the international, intercultural, and digital competencies of the adult education staff. These skills are intended to have an immediate positive impact on working with people from different cultures. To continue providing high-quality educational work in the digital age, new approaches must be taken. Strengthening digital competence is a central prerequisite for this.
As an educational institution, the Kolping Akademie Ingolstadt faces new challenges. The current refugee situation and the digital transformation require increased intercultural and media pedagogical competencies across the entire adult education sector. As part of the project, the staff received targeted training in these areas to sustainably improve the quality of educational work. They can now apply their skills more effectively and support learners more specifically.
