Objectives

Interkulifer XIII aims to provide trainee early‑childhood educators and teachers with intercultural, social, personal and professional competencies. Through short‑term mobilities to Romania (the “Children’s Play City”) and Norway, participants gain insight into different early‑childhood education systems, develop quality standards and innovative methods, and thereby strengthen their professionalisation, personal development, as well as the internationalisation and inclusion strategy of FSP2.

Background

The FSP2/BS21 in Hamburg is a public vocational school with roughly 1 300 learners, training exclusively early‑childhood educators, social‑pedagogical assistants, and kindergarten helpers. In view of a highly multicultural student body and increasing societal diversity, the Interkulifer XIII project aims to strengthen social, intercultural, personal and professional competencies through short‑term mobilities to Romania and Norway, and to reinforce the school’s internationalisation strategy.
